  • Where the rubber hits the road: the point at which a theory or idea is put to a practical test.
  • The world is your oyster: used to say that you can do anything or go anywhere you want in life.

    In Brazil we call the table football (or soccer) Pebolim or Totó.

    In Brazil foosball has more than one “name”, it depends on the region, but the ones I know are “totó” or “pebolim”, very different from the word football, right?! Haha
    I love listening to podcasts while I’m doing other things, just like you recommended us!
    I discovered your YouTube channel 3 days ago and subscribed right after I watched one video, it’s really fun to learn with TV shows!

    Hi, thank you for the good work, I can tell you are so committed to what you do. Just a quick question. Is there any place I can practice the vocabulary from each piece of you podcasts just like I can at Memrise or Anki, which I think is very helpful to memorize new words from Friends and your Immersion program. Your podcasts do have so many useful words and phrases which I don’t want to go over my head. Thank you. Danny
