Song: Sia – Chandelier

Lyrics

Party girls don’t get hurt
Can’t feel anything, when will I learn
I push it down, push it down

I’m the one “for a good time call”
Phone’s blowin’ up, they’re ringin’ my doorbell
I feel the love, feel the love

1, 2, 3 1, 2, 3 drink
1, 2, 3 1, 2, 3 drink
1, 2, 3 1, 2, 3 drink

Throw ’em back, till I lose count

I’m gonna swing from the chandelier, from the chandelier
I’m gonna live like tomorrow doesn’t exist
Like it doesn’t exist
I’m gonna fly like a bird through the night, feel my tears as they dry
I’m gonna swing from the chandelier, from the chandelier

But I’m holding on for dear life, won’t look down won’t open my eyes
Keep my glass full until morning light, ’cause I’m just holding on for tonight
Help me, I’m holding on for dear life, won’t look down won’t open my eyes
Keep my glass full until morning light, ’cause I’m just holding on for tonight
On for tonight

Sun is up, I’m a mess
Gotta get out now, gotta run from this
Here comes the shame, here comes the shame

1, 2, 3 1, 2, 3 drink
1, 2, 3 1, 2, 3 drink
1, 2, 3 1, 2, 3 drink

Throw ’em back till I lose count

I’m gonna swing from the chandelier, from the chandelier
I’m gonna live like tomorrow doesn’t exist
Like it doesn’t exist
I’m gonna fly like a bird through the night, feel my tears as they dry
I’m gonna swing from the chandelier, from the chandelier

But I’m holding on for dear life, won’t look down, won’t open my eyes
Keep my glass full until morning light, ’cause I’m just holding on for tonight
Help me, I’m holding on for dear life, won’t look down, won’t open my eyes
Keep my glass full until morning light, ’cause I’m just holding on for tonight
On for tonight

On for tonight
‘Cause I’m just holding on for tonight
Oh, I’m just holding on for tonight
On for tonight
On for tonight
‘Cause I’m just holding on for tonight
‘Cause I’m just holding on for tonight
Oh, I’m just holding on for tonight
On for tonight
On for tonight

  • Ester Diniz says:

Hey guys! I was reading this article when it made me laugh because I just have to agree with you Lol That`s so true. I love going to parties because I know I`ll be having a couple drinks and being more confident Lol I can speak ok when I`m not drinking but nothing better than when I have a bit of alcohol in my blood. Anyway, just wanted to share with you that I do agree with that! 😀

    • Aww yeah Ester, Thanks for listening and commenting :0) Yeah alcohol is a great tool for learning. Just like playing pool, it works well up until a few beers (that buzz where it still works as a performance enhancer). After that it’s all downhill :0) Thanks for listening and sharing your thoughts!

  • Sergius says:

Incredible, a powerful song. I know what the alkohol is and how devastating it could be. Thank you guys. Incredible lesson, as ever.

    • Justin says:

Thanks Sergius, we really appreciate it!

  • Andrew says:

Hi guys! You’re doing a great job, really, but you know what? It seems there is some problem with direct downloading right here because I can’t download this podcast, unfortunately…
Of course, it might be my own fault but who knows, maybe it is just some bug or something like that, so I decided let you know about it. With all due respect, so to say)

    • Justin says:

Should be working now. Thanks for the heads up, Andrew!
