#253: 22+ Conversation Starters That ALWAYS Work

All the time our students tell us that their biggest frustration is that they understand English well, but that they don’t have any opportunities to speak. That is exactly why we launched the RealLife English app this year to give you an opportunity to practice both your speaking and listening in a fun and meaningful way. If you ever worry about not knowing what to talk about while using the app, listen to this episode because we will give you ideas on which topics to talk about when using the app. So by the end of this podcast episode, you’ll have plenty of conversation starters!

Words You’ll Learn in the App

  • Ease into (something)
  • Tandem
  • Come up (with something)
  • Without any further ado
  • Small talk
  • Faux pas
  • Be none of your business
  • Go down a rabbit hole
  • Worldview
  • Fall on its face
  • And many more in the app.

    • Justin says:

Hey Maryam, I have a Macbook Pro and I can’t find the app. I would love to test it out. Do you have the link so I can try it? In general, the app is not built for a laptop, so if you have a smartphone I would definitely recommend using it there.
