  • To be itching (to do something): to have a strong desire to do something.
  • Seeing history thorough the lens of what the queen has done is fascinating“: to perceive a situation as another person would.
  • “It’s interesting how things are depicted (in the show)”: represent by a drawing, painting, or other art form.
  • See behind the curtains: something that’s behind the curtains is usually not visible for people.
  • “It’s hard to talk about this show without giving anything away: if you give something away, you share a secret accidentally, or as in this case, you spoil the plot of a movie or TV show.
