Hey guys! What’s goin’ on?

For those who don’t know me, my name is Ethan.

We’ve been growing a lot recently and getting a lot of great feedback from you guys so we want to thank you for telling your friends and helping us to help you.

We’re happy that you’ve been learning a lot with us, and we wanted you to know that we’re learning just as much from you. We’re excited to keep getting better.

At our local social events, as well as our international online community, people have been asking us, “What is Real Life English?” and “What is your method for teaching English?”

So to help you understand and use this to improve your English and your life, we’ve decided to create a three part video series outlining the revolutionary, new Real Life English learning method.

Introducing the New Real Life English Learning Method

Learning English is not a simple process. If you’ve ever had an English class, you probably think that English learning involves a boring textbook, memorizing grammar rules, and a formal classroom environment with a teacher who doesn’t give you the personal attention that you need to really get fluent.

The problem is that languages can’t be learned out of a book alone. English is communication. English is listening. English is NOT a group of rules that must be memorized.

We believe that English is best taught and learned through the integration of real life experiences, such as a supportive English speaking community, an enriching cultural context, and meaningful relationships. This is essential for your learning.

You need to make English a fun and convenient part of your life, you need to discover how you learn best, and you need to be a lifelong learner. Unfortunately, this is something textbooks don’t teach.

If you’ve learned English in the classroom, then you can probably read pretty well, and maybe even write.

But when you hear native speakers talking, you’re lost. You don’t understand much.
You’re too scared. And you’re too embarrassed to talk, even though you’ve theoretically memorized enough vocabulary to express yourself.

After YEARS of studying and studying, going to school, and even paying for classes,
why is your English still not as good as you want it to be?

If you think that learning English has to be slow, boring, and frustrating, then it’s not your fault. It’s the old way of teaching English, which is too focused on logic, rules, structure, and analytical thinking.

How Do Children Learn Languages?

Think about a child that you know first learning to communicate. They don’t learn grammar, logic, or rules. They play with the language and learn how to speak through their life, their play, and meaningful experiences that guide their learning. They learn through observation and repetition.

This is actually supported by the Nobel Prize Winning “Left Brain/Right Brain” Research of Dr. Roger Sperry.

We’ll explain this better in the second video, but the basic idea is that the brain is divided into two hemispheres that have completely different functions and learning styles.

Left Brain Right Brain English LearningAs illustrated in the drawing, the LEFT brain is more logical and analytical and the RIGHT brain is more imaginative and intuitive.

This research suggests that first learning with the right brain, which is experience and imagination, is a much more powerful and effective way to learn. This is exactly exactly why traditional English methods are limited.

The most effective language learners learn with their creative right brain. This leads to a more personalized, natural, and intuitive way, which involves them and makes it fun.

When you learn English with your right brain then the grammar is fun and natural to learn.

This is how kids learn to communicate in their native tongue, this is how the most fluent English learners do it, and with this three part video series, we’ll show you exactly how to use this method to revolutionize not just how you learn English, but how you see the world.

Language Immersion

Let me help you understand this with a story.

As a language learner myself, I understand exactly how frustrating it is learning in the classroom. It makes languages seem boring, analytical and a struggle to learn. Like rolling a giant rock up a hill.

When I lived abroad, I discovered why learning languages was so difficult and boring while sitting in a classroom.

I studied German for three years during high school. I had a pretty good knowledge of the grammar, I knew lots of vocabulary, and I knew how to write.

Before going to Germany, I had never been exposed to REAL German. I had only listened to my American German teacher and to instructional classroom CDs.

But when I actually went to Germany, I could barely communicate. People didn’t understand my pronunciation. When people spoke to me, I had to ask them to repeat what they said a lot. Or to write it down.

While living in Germany I found the FUN, REAL way to learn a language.

I spoke with and heard native German speakers everyday. I watched German television. I listened to German music. I enjoyed what Germans my age enjoyed.

But you don’t have to go live in another country to experience this.

You don’t even have to travel in order to improve your English and speak fluently.

If you want to speak real life English, if you want to understand native speakers, and if you want your process to be natural and dynamic, these videos will guide you to the solution.

Stop struggling with English, and experience this revolutionary new method that will activate your English learning potential.

If You Depend on Traditional Learning Methods to Develop True Fluency, You are WASTING YOUR TIME.

The most fluent English learners will tell you the same thing. Why is this?

First, for every month that you are not fluent, you are missing important professional and personal opportunities.

Second, if you depend only on old methods, you are without a doubt learning slowly.

Third, IF you reach true fluency with traditional learning, you are depending on other people (and you usually have to keep paying them) to maintain your fluency or you have to spend a lot of money on travel.

But you don’t need to study in English speaking countries to gain powerful English speaking skills.

You can sound more like a native speaker, and feel more confident, without ever leaving
your home country by speaking real life English.

Tell me and I forget-ben franklinBenjamin Franklin explained this beautifully when he said, “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”

We learn best when we when we feel involved in our learning, and traditional English learning methods do not do this. The world needs new methods that inspire learning and activate our natural intelligence.

Our objective is simply to bring together the best language learning solutions.

The Real Life English method is simple and it makes sense to most people. We’re not the only ones using it. We just see how successful language learners everywhere do it, we’ve studied and worked with them, and we’ve had a lot of success using this in our own language learning and teaching.

Learn English Without Leaving Your Home Country

Let me give you an example.

A few months ago, I visited Rio de Janeiro.

While I was there I met another American tourist…

Well at least I thought he was American. But after talking for awhile, I noticed he had
an interesting accent that I hadn’t heard before, so I asked him where he was from. He responded…

I was surprised, so I asked him how his English is SO good. I expected him to tell me that one of his parents was from the United States.

They weren’t.

So how did he know English expressions and slang that my American friends and I use every day?

What he told me was that in Holland almost all of the television is only in English. From
a young age people from Holland and other northern European countries are immersed in English language and American and British culture. They listen to real English EVERY DAY.

They also learn English in school, but the classes are much more conversational.

So people from Northern Europe listen to English anytime they turn on the television and they speak in school and even with their friends.

Talking with this guy more, I realized that he actually did make some small mistakes, but it didn’t matter to him. He was able to communicate perfectly, it wasn’t a problem for him.

People who learn English with this method not only speak fluently, but they have excellent pronunciation. And, they’re confident about their abilities, never embarrassed about the mistakes they might make.

You’re probably thinking that such an English learning atmosphere doesn’t exist for all of us.

But with a change in your thinking and the right strategies, it can.

real life guysThat’s why Real LIfe English is here to help and support this style of learning, and to help you build and create your own personalized method, which is going to show you how  English learning can be a fun and natural part of your life, and something that you will never forget.

Make sure you watch the next video of this course where Justin is going to tell you in more detail how you can start applying the Real Life Method to your everyday life.

Thanks a lot, and see you next time!

People are so closed mind when comes to communication in different language. Think about a mute person, you can place him anywhere in the world he’ll be able to communicate with anyone. I usually ask people who was his/hes first portuguese( or native language) teacher . No one ever answer me it was they parents. The best way to learn it´s like a child. Involving ourselves with english ! Speak Up !
