Searching for a capable and enthusiastic, learner-oriented Marketing Graphic Designer to join our English-speaking team and play a critical and ongoing role in the execution of our company vision:

RealLife is an international social education startup dedicated to helping English learners make learning an epic, global adventure.
The Opportunity
You will lead design for our marketing department, creating assets for the distribution of our content on YouTube and podcast, as well as for our app, which connects non-native English learners with other non-native English learners, from around the world, to practice their English while discovering new friends from different cultures, without the need for a teacher. You will also collaborate with other departments and be responsible for other design and user interaction projects throughout the organization.

- You create with a focus on the experience of the user. You take a design-thinking approach, patiently iterating and learning from feedback until you nail the solution.
- You are communicative and ask questions until you understand the vision of the piece of content or resource. You ask for help, clearly explain your own thinking, confidently fight for your ideas, yet openly and humbly listen to feedback.
- You are organized and maintain a tidy design environment and manage your time well. You follow a process with your design to work efficiently. You have great self-discipline and can work autonomously on a distributed team.
- You put great importance on the details, however you also know the difference between a draft, which requires diligent efficiency, and a final product that needs attentiveness.
- You constantly develop yourself, trying out new tools and methods. You are up-to-date: Relentless in talking to other designers and voraciously digesting information.
- You have at least an intermediate English speaking level, and clear and concise written communication.
Other "Nice to Haves "(Helpful but not necessary)
- Expertise with Design Thinking and/ or other similar models.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and any experience with tech, startups, or similar Personal Projects
- Experience working with marketing automation
- UX certificates, interest, or previous experience
- Interaction design certificate, interest, or previous experience
- Experience working with YouTube, podcasts, and/or web design
- University Degree in Design or other associated area.
Expected Outcomes
- Own our YouTube Thumbnail Creation Process and increase the click-through rate of videos on our two channels.
- Integrate RealLife’s customer persona, brand, and teaching method into the visual identity.
- Work together with the product design team to create a new RealLife English style guide.
- Carry out organizational design projects that help to better communicate our vision and values.
- Update the design of RealLife English’s website and landing pages.
- Design empathetically by getting to know our audience through customer development.
- You will impact other areas of the business, including product, sales, strategy, and culture, eventually playing a key leadership role and helping make design a key part of the company DNA.
Description
- You will work mostly remotely to collaborate with the Content Manager, CMO, product design team, and other key team members in regular meetings, and with other online collaboration tools.
- We will set ambitious, but realistic goals and hustle to achieve them, planning and executing on the marketing roadmap with OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
- You will be immersed in an English speaking company and culture, receiving ample support and guidance for your English fluency (American founders with an English speaking team in Brazil, Argentina, and Europe).
